The sixth floor provides beautiful city views from two open-air verandas and through tall loft windows, as well as a unique perspective of our iconic neon champagne bottle, which is perfect for photos. Hardwood floors and exposed brick complement the rustic cedarwood bar while a granite top and soft uplighting lend a romantic feeling to your wedding celebration.
The seventh floor has lovely views of Downtown St. Louis from every angle – with large windows to the east and south and two open-air verandas. The custom bar is both sophisticated and rustic, with a crisp copper top and charming reclaimed French doors below, perfect for an elegant evening.
The eighth floor has beautiful 15-foot ceilings, exposed air-ducts and hardwood floors to create an open, loft-like feel. Frequently Asked Questions
Where do my guests park?
Windows On Washington provides a complimentary parking lot just a block west of our venue. We also provide a complimentary shuttle that will pick guests up from the parking lot and drop them off directly at our front door and vice versa. Our parking lot is located at 17th and Lucas Ave, the address is 1701 Lucas Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103 with the entrance off of Lucas.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Windows On Washington is the in-house, exclusive catering company, so all food and beverage must go through us. Wedding cakes are the exception. Cakes must be brought in from a licensed and insured vendor with our approval.
Do I have to have my menu and specific details set when I book my event?
Definitely not! After booking, there are two major meetings we will schedule. The first meeting is a Complimentary Tasting for up to 6 guests to sample and choose the menu and bar options. The second meeting is a Final Details meeting where we will solidify the small details, design the room layout, and discuss timeline.
Do you have a list of vendors that I must use?
Windows On Washington has a list of Preferred Vendors for things such as band/DJ, baker, florist, and photography/videography. Although you do not have to use someone on this list, all vendors are very familiar with the space. Most vendors will also offer some sort of discount, typically 10%, for being a Windows On Washington client.
Can I have my ceremony at Windows?
Yes- we can provide both ceremony and reception in the same space at Windows On Washington for up to 200 guests.
How many guests does the space hold?
Each of the three floors can accommodate up to 400 guests for a sit-down reception and up to 200 guests for a ceremony and sit-down reception. The dining room would include room for a head table, DJ or band, and a dance floor.
When do I have access to my room for set-up?
All family, friends, and vendors will have access to the room the day of the event beginning at 1pm. There are instances in which family and friends can access the room earlier, and that will be determined by the availability of the room prior to the event.
How long can my reception be?
All of our receptions start at four hours of open bar, with the option to add on a fifth hour, ending no later than 12:30am. This time is a continuous four or five hours, and does not include the ceremony time. The ceremony typically lasts about 30-45 minutes, with the reception beginning immediately after. When the bar closes, the event also ends, the DJ/band stops playing, and the guests will depart
